Clothier Specialist (Outside Sales)

Position: Clothier Specialist (Outside Sales)

Type of Position: Hybrid Part-Time

Pay: 100% Commission

We are seeking a self-driven individual who desires to style leaders in custom professional apparel. Shaw's Covenant Custom Clothier commissions custom suits, shirts, overcoats, tuxedos, and more for marketplace leaders and engaged couples. Success in this role entails consistent customer acquisition through direct sales and commissioning quality garments for our esteemed clientele. This role is critical to the overall growth of sales and new marketplace penetration in the Mid-Atlantic region.

As a Clothier Specialist, your income will be dictated by your ability to acquire new clients and produce quality garments. We pride ourselves on providing a flexible schedule to our Clothiers with the expectation of hitting sales benchmarks.

Responsibilities

  • Seek new potential prospects through networking, cold emailing, cold calling, and social network platforms.

  • Update customer and prospect data into the CRM platform after interactions.

  • Commute to the client's location to conduct mobile fitting.

  • Select fabric options that complement the individual's appearance, lifestyle, and core values.

  • Collect over three dozen measurements and assess several body features that will shape the client's physique appropriately.

  • Demonstrate the ability to select design formats deemed appropriate for the occasion and silhouette of the client.

  • Input client orders into our digital software to our manufacturing department.

  • Ensure client satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise post-sale.

  • Conduct alteration appointments with returning clients requiring adjustments.

  • Attend local events for brand recognition and to develop new relationships.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • An Interest in professional menswear Apparel

  • Proficient Styling Abilities are preferred, but not required.

  • Sales Experience required

  • Experience in the fashion industry is preferred, but not required.

  • Bachelor's in Sales, Marketing, Business, Fashion or a related field is a plus.

  • Driver's License required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Daily vehicle access to commute to clients in various locations.

  • Must be able to lift 20-30lbs at a time.

  • Must be able to travel.
